Culinary Argan Oil


The culinary version of Argan oil is appreciated both for its unique exotic nutty flavour and rich composition. It is one of the most expensive carrier oils in the world due to the fact that obtaining the almonds needed for organic extraction is a very labour intensive process. All nuts collected from one season of a tree give only one litre of oil. We purchase hand extracted almonds from local women in bags, then slightly toast the kernels for flavour and the use an electric screw press to cold extract the oil.





Culinary Use


The organic cold-pressed extract is highly valued for its taste and therefore used by high-profile chefs such as Heston Blumenthal and Jamie Oliver in preparation of food. The oil enhances taste and aroma of dishes. It is characterized by its creamy exotic nutty flavour. The extract is mostly used for seasoning and low temperature cooking.
